I have been a huge fan of Janet’s for so long now. I love her book! It brings me a wonderful sense of calm and inner contemplation. I'm really looking forward to seeing her interpretation of the Stations of the Cross.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37589721331585843.post-33140830635846169412012-04-01T05:25:47.722-06:002012-04-01T05:25:47.722-06:00I am so glad you included Janet McKenzie's &qu...I am so glad you included Janet McKenzie's "Jesus of the People" for this Holy Week offering. My mind sees how important Jesus as a female face of color is to women and to people of color. That by itself makes this a significant painting. AND as a person of European descent, I also experience the universality of her Jesus of ALL the People. My heart is enveloped by Jesus' unconditional love for all of humanity and for all life. Janet always captures the deep presence of spirit and love in her work. That to me conveys the purest message of my God. Thank you, Janet, for your gifts to the people! <br />Bringer Of LightBringer Of Lightnoreply@blogger.com
