Not only that, it has old school Donkey Kong?

And I completely agree with Art: the King of Kong is brilliant. It's sort of like a Christopher Guest movie, but with real people who don't seem to be joking.Luke Harlowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02669920427097449233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37589721331585843.post-13091497844121627502008-04-11T14:47:00.000-06:002008-04-11T14:47:00.000-06:00Paul will never let us put this in a post, but by ...Paul will never let us put this in a post, but by far the best book to "write across the color line" in US religious history is _Freedom's Coming_. If you have not read this book, you must. It is an incredible romp through white and black religion in the US South (and West, and North) from the Civil War to the present. Paul shows interracial exchanges and interchanges happening at just about every spiritual level - and he also investigates the role of religion in everything from the Populists to the rise of the New Right. Harvey won't let us get a piece lauding his work on the blog, but every time I thumb through my notes of the book, I am amazed at its breadth and depth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37589721331585843.post-9974844502215058472008-04-09T15:45:00.000-06:002008-04-09T15:45:00.000-06:00HA. For everyone else, it's just plain scary--although not as much as "Confessions of a Superhero."Art Remillardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03857242536492717015noreply@blogger.com
